Reach Truck Categories
The Accrediting Bodies Association (ABA) has identified 3 categories of Reach Trucks used in the UK.
They are Category D1, D2 and D3.
Each category of Reach Truck has a different purpose in the workplace and they each require a separate operator certificate.
You will need to receive formal training from a forklift instructor before using each category of reach truck.
It is therefore important that you identify the correct category of reach truck that best suits your employment or business requirements and then book the right reach truck training course for your needs.

Our Reach Truck novice courses can be delivered at our FLT Training Centre, or can be delivered Onsite on your Business Premises, and range in duration from a 3-day novice course, a 4-day novice course, and a 5-day novice course depending on the number of trainees attending.
