F1 VNA Operator Up Novice Course – Eligibility
The RTITB and Health & Safety Executive (HSE) have set guidance and some eligibility criteria for attending these F1 VNA Operator Up Novice Training Courses.
F1 VNA Operator Up Novice Course – Eligibility Criteria
Experience Level – This F1 VNA Operator Up Novice Course is for those with no, or very limited, experience of using a F1 VNA Operator Up.
Age – To attend this F1 VNA Operator Up Novice Course and operate a F1 VNA Operator Up in the workplace you must be at least school leaving age (16). Please note, subject to a risk assessment, if you are under the age of 18 you may need to be supervised in the workplace when using a F1 VNA Operator Up until you reach the age of 18. In addition, no person under the age of 18 can use a F1 VNA Operator Up on docks, or ports.
Language – This F1 VNA Operator Up Novice Course has multiple classroom-based theory lessons throughout. A written theory test is also mandatory. In addition, the safe use of a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift requires that the operator reads and understands any safety signs, local safety notices, and can thoroughly understand the manufacturer’s operator handbook for a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift.
The practical training aspect of this F1 VNA Operator Up Novice Course, and the mandatory practical test of operating skills, involves continuous verbal instructions that the trainee must be able to understand and act upon in a safe manner.
Therefore, good comprehension of English language and literacy are important for attending this F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift Novice Course.
Note – In extreme cases, an accredited translator can be used for the purposes of testing. The chosen translator must not be a candidate on the F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift Novice Course and must not alter the sense of any of the answers given by the candidate. If required, please seek legal advice on the use of an accredited translator.
Medical – There is currently no legislation or clear medical guidance available in relation to the specific use of a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift. In general, we would apply the HSE principle that each person’s fitness for operating a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift should be judged individually to ensure that people with disabilities are not disadvantaged but competence in an emergency must always be considered.
We would therefore generally follow the health guidance issued by the DVLA for Group 1 entitlement if the need arises to assess capabilities for operating a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift Truck.
Essentially, if you are not, or would not be restricted in obtaining a UK driving licence, then there should be no restrictions in operating a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift Truck in normal circumstances.
Note – All trainees are required to sign a medical declaration at the beginning of these F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift Novice Courses.
Driving Licence – You do not need a driving licence (car licence) to attend this F1 VNA Operator Up Novice Course, nor do you need a driving licence to operate a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift Truck on business premises (unless it is taken onto a public road).

The RTITB and Health & Safety Executive (HSE) have set guidance and some eligibility criteria for attending these F1 VNA Operator Up Experienced Operator Training Courses.
F1 VNA Operator Up Experienced Operator Course – Eligibility Criteria
Experience Level – This F1 VNA Operator Up Experienced Operator Course is for those who have at least 6 months of current operating experience on a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift but have no formal training in using a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift.
Age – To attend this F1 VNA Operator Up Experienced Operator Course and operate a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift in the workplace you must be at least school leaving age (16). Please note, subject to a risk assessment, if you are under the age of 18 you may need to be supervised in the workplace when using a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift until you reach the age of 18. In addition, no person under the age of 18 can use a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift on docks, or ports.
Language – This F1 VNA Operator Up Experienced Operator Course has multiple classroom-based theory lessons throughout.
The practical training aspect of this F1 VNA Operator Up Experienced Operator Course, and the mandatory practical test of operating skills, involves continuous verbal instructions that the trainee must be able to understand and act upon in a safe manner.
Therefore, good comprehension of English language and literacy are important for attending this F1 VNA Operator Up Experienced Operator Course.
Note – In extreme cases, an accredited translator can be used for the purposes of testing. The chosen translator must not be a candidate on the F1 VNA Operator Up Experienced Operator Course and must not alter the sense of any of the answers given by the candidate.
We would therefore generally follow the health guidance issued by the DVLA for Group 1 entitlement if the need arises to assess capabilities for operating a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift.
Essentially, if you are not, or would not be restricted in obtaining a UK driving licence, then there should be no restrictions in operating a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift in normal circumstances.
Note – All trainees are required to sign a medical declaration at the beginning of these F1 VNA Operator Up Experienced Operator Courses.
Driving Licence – You do not need a driving licence (car licence) to attend this F1 VNA Operator Up Experienced Operator Course or to operate a F1 VNA Operator Up Forklift on business premises (unless it is taken onto a public road).
