We deliver onsite MEWP Courses at your business premises using your equipment.
MEWP Categories
Did you know that there are more than one type of Mobile Elevated Work Platform (MEWP)?
The Accredited Bodies Association (ABA) has identified 4 categories of MEWP used in the UK.
They are Category 1A, 1B, 3A and 3B.
Each category of MEWP has a different purpose in the workplace and they each require a separate operator certificate.
You will need to receive formal training from a MEWP instructor before using each category.
It is therefore important that you identify the correct category of MEWP that best suits your employment or business requirements and then book the right course for your needs.

1A - Static Scissor Lift
Static Vertical – Moved into position. Cannot drive elevated
1B - Static Cherry Picker
Static Boom – Trailer or van mounted. Cannot drive elevated.
